Who we work with
We work with busy professionals, business
owners and self-employed people. These are people who are
exceptionally good at their profession or career. They do,
however, find it’s an ongoing struggle to keep
up their high standards because of pressures or changes in the
work environment, new legislation or just general business
practice. This makes it increasingly difficult for them to find
the time, energy or mental space to enjoy a relaxing, rewarding
life away from work.
The people we work with are aware that how they feel and
think affects their effectiveness in their business, and also
the quality of their life, in and out of work.
Do you recognise yourself in any of these statements?
You are great, even masterful at what you do.
What's gone is
your ability to enjoy doing it. You feel outside factors are
orchestrating, if not controlling, your life.
You are getting exhausted by your work. Under normal
circumstances you would feel energised by achieving the results
you get. Instead, increasing demands have left you feeling worn
out.
Sometimes you feel you can hardly keep your head above water.
You just don’t have the energy or enthusiasm you used to have.
You know that when you're like this, you can’t respond
creatively to situations, have good judgment about the right
solution or even simply listen to other people.
It’s becoming more of a struggle for you to get your work
done as your body doesn’t want to keep going like it used to.
You feel bad or guilty about not being able to do as much as you
feel is expected of you. You don’t know how you’ll cope if the
current trends continue. How are you going to keep going? How is
your home life suffering? Could this be affecting your health?
You return from work in the evening and have no energy left
to do anything apart from flop on the sofa and watch TV.
Important relationships are getting strained. Maybe your weight,
your drinking or smoking habits have been getting out of control
and you don’t have the mental capacity to do anything about it.
You look at yourself in the mirror and you see a tired,
stressed person looking back at you. You’ve developed habits
like working too late, drinking too much or eating the wrong
kind of food at the wrong times. You know that you’re starting
to look shocking and don’t know how to get your old self back.
You would benefit from working with us if:
You’re open to finding new ways of doing things and willing
to let go of old habits that no longer serve you.
Our clients are very knowledgeable in
their own field. They don’t, however, possess the expertise to
identify accurately which behaviours to change to get them back
in control and enjoying life again.
You know that how you think about, and attend to, issues
makes a difference to your effectiveness. Our clients are
aware that their psychological state and mental attitude are key
components of their success.
You are committed to enjoying a successful work life and home
life. Our clients enjoy the process of learning new ideas,
exploring them, and experimenting with them in their lives.
You are willing to ask for help and value new perspectives.
As professionals, our clients realise they can’t know
everything, or do everything, themselves. They value their
ongoing good health as a vital factor for their long-term
success in their chosen career. They're prepared to reach out
and find people who can help them move to a more productive,
sustainable and enjoyable life.
You are willing to invest in yourself. Our clients
recognise that making lasting behaviour changes takes time and
effort, and quick-fix solutions are not real. They appreciate
how this investment impacts positively on themselves, their
business and their home life.
